Christmas in the Park
Everyone is invited to attend our first ever Christmas in the Park (Monte Cecilia Catholic School grounds).
The highlight of the event is the NATIVITY PLAY, that will be screened on a huge outdoor screen.
Bring a picnic (no food will be sold at the event) and chairs, if necessary.
Come along dressed as shepherds, angels, wisemen but NOT Santa.
Let us gather together to remember that JESUS is the reason for this season.

On this most solemn occasion, we will commemorate the crucifixion of our Lord.

We will mark this day of mourning by fasting.

Before Mass - please prepare a basin and towel for the feet washing.
You are invited to participate in the feet washing ritual.
Fr Sam will take you through who washes who. There is no right/wrong way of doing this. Please keep in mind, the spirit of humility and serving others, that is core to this ritual.

Sacred Music Evening
Come and join us at our annual Sacred Music evening to celebrate the gift of music. Several renowned choirs will be performing, in honour of our the coming of our Saviour.
International Food Festival 2019
Our Annual International Food Festival will be held on Sun 3rd Nov 2019 in the Parish Hall. We invite all out parish chefs to put on their BEST FOOD FORWARD for this day. We encourage you to participate as an individual family or a group to make this event a success with a wide range of international cuisines. We will be also inviting neighbouring parishes to come and buy food. We hope to raise a good collection toward the repair fund for St John Vianney. Parish Retreat on Marriage and Family Life with Fr Anthoni

Fr Lowe, a Salesian Of Don Bosco, Provincial Councillor for Youth Ministry & Rector of Provincial House- Mumbai, India will be celebrating the 9am mass here at SJV. The Spiritual Talk will take place at 10.30am after mass.

International Food Festival
There will be an international food extravaganza at the SJV Parish Hall on 18 Nov 2018. Stalls representing Samoan, Indian, Kiwi classics, Youth and Monte Cecilia Catholic School will be selling a variety of snacks and meals. We welcome all cooking enthusiasts to join in with their food preparations. Proceeds of the food sales will be contributed to the St John Vianney Parish fund.
